Who Are We
Core Values
At Youth in Action, we stand on the belief that God calls each of us to be a light to the world, drawing others toward the life and love He freely offers. Rooted in Matthew 5:14, we embrace the purpose of bringing hope and transformation to the youth and young adults of Winnipeg by embodying the love and truth of God.
In obedience to the Great Commission, we believe in our calling to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). Our mission is to reach our generation and inspire each young person we encounter to find their purpose in God’s love and grace, encouraging them to share their faith and live out the teachings of Jesus.
Since our founding in August 2021, we have dedicated ourselves to living out and sharing this message. We aim to touch lives, proclaim the finished work of the cross, and equip young people to be active participants in God's mission, embodying His love and truth in every area of life. Through Youth in Action, we strive to transform lives by sharing God's Word and empowering youth to shine as lights in a world that desperately needs His love.
Our Mission
Statement of Faith
We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—three in one. Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, came to earth, died on the cross, and rose again on the third day, completing the work of salvation. This gift of salvation is not earned by works but is a result of grace through faith in Christ alone.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is actively working in the lives of believers today, empowering and guiding them to live lives that honor God. Through His indwelling presence, Christians are equipped to walk in righteousness and pursue a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who have accepted salvation through Christ will be raised to eternal life, while those who are lost will face the resurrection of judgment. Luke 24:46-47; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Ephesians 1:7 and 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-7.
